CARMELO

Carmelo’s love for music started in the late eighties listening to Soul, hip hop and the early sounds of house music. He started appearing as a DJ in the mid 90’s and was soon playing US Garage/House for underground parties including “Feelin Groovy” and “Better Days” in venues around London.

In 2002 he became the owner, manager and resident DJ at the iconic Bellini’s.
It was within this era that he turned his attention to specialising in a more soulful sound, playing alongside DJs such as Paul Trouble Anderson and Copyright plus the venue hosted several Defected parties.

Since then, he has played for other upcoming brands within the house music arena and has recently launched and is hosting his own Soulful house event.

Carmelo is a new addition to the Sound Suite brand, his sound is carefully curated over many years, bringing that unique sought after vibe across genres, playing predominantly soulful and deep house, plus soul, RnB and new Jack swing.
